I'm Nguyen, a dedicated U.S. Marine Corps veteran and a Computer Science major at Wayne State University. My journey in technology is marked by a strong foundation in telecommunications, tactical communications operations, and a keen interest in cryptology.
During my service in the Marine Corps from October 2014 to May 2017, I developed vital skills in teamwork, communication, and leadership. I spearheaded training and maintenance initiatives, significantly improving team efficiency and operational success rates in telecommunications. My experience in military training and operations has instilled in me a disciplined approach to problem-solving and project management.
As a programmer, I am proficient in Python, C++, Java, and LaTeX. I am particularly interested in data structures, algorithm analysis, and cybersecurity. My adaptability and quick learning ability have been crucial in navigating the fast-paced, dynamic environment of technology. Currently, I am expanding my expertise in web development with a focus on HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
One of my notable projects includes developing a Lightweight Active Directory Alternative, a fast querying database solution aimed at enhancing information retrieval, storage, and backup processes for small to medium companies.
